Courtney and Nathan's Wedding

Courtney and Nathan's hometown wedding was one of those simple affairs you just feel privileged to be a part of as a friend and witness of their love. This was such a great experience for all involved (first wedding I've photographed by myself), I got some beautiful shots of these two together and I wish them only the very best!
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from their happy day....

Nature

B and E

I was extremely excited to take Blair and Ernest's engagement pictures. I've watched these two fall in love "over and over again" for more than a decade now. As my brother would say, "Those two have an epic love story, man."
They are a perfect ying and yang of love.
Ernest is a growing musician known as Washed Out, pretty awesome watching him grow in the music world. I am a fan and you should be too.

My job was immediately made easier when B told me about this sunflower field she had found on the side of the road. It was the perfect place to capture these two interacting (the sunset was a plus). The shots of them riding bikes were taken on the dirt road leading to Ernest's parents house. Love these pictures and these two individuals.

Park

After an eventful weekend of "bachelorette partying" in Atlanta, a Sunday afternoon in the park was just what Kristen and I needed to rejuvenate our souls. We had no idea how awesome it would feel to just lay out a blanket and let the sun shine down across our faces- no schedule to follow, no agenda.
Neither of us could recall the last time we had enjoyed such a simple gift.
Not to mention, the sun graciously offered the perfect lighting; allowing me to capture some of my favorite shots from last year. Kristen also took hold of the camera and put her own creative twist in the mix, she is definitely not afraid to offer her own artistic expression in situation like these (no wonder were friends).
